My 10 month old is finally getting a little int...

My 10 month old is finally getting a little interested in food. My problem now is when I give her anything that isnt pureed (me spoon feeding her or her self feeding) she puts it in her mouth then spits it out again. She seems really into eating it but never swallows any of it. I am left with a whole heap of chewed up food all over the place!!!
